Chaos can drive cohesion

with No Comments

Hello Friends,

When do things come together? When do we sync? What triggers our human ability to cooperate without hesitation, bias, judgement or fear? august20-2

Chaos, in different forms, is often necessary for this cohesion to arise on its own. Sadly, in our media we see this chaos most during great tragedy. Amazing human collaborations form and generate overwhelming aid. Then we go back to our daily lives. We disconnect from that moment of urgent human need and leave that state of community based sync behind. But floods, tsunamis, earthquakes or political uprising are not the only way for us to come together as human beings.

Imagine if we could meet in with our families, partners, friends, businesses or government leaders, already in this state of judgement-free collaboration… what a different world this might be.

TaKeTiNa is not the answer to the world’s problems. Well, maybe it is. Only time will tell for sure. However, TaKeTiNa it is a practice of coming together. august20-1It teaches our bodies and minds that we can sense, feel and be in tune with what is happening around us. That we can find our way into and out of the flow with others and ourselves. That we can add to the rhythm and world in many ways. All the while, the journey reminds us that we do not have to be perfect.

This weekend we are invited to come together in rhythm. Tap into our human ability to sync while laughing, singing and relaxing. No tragedy necessary. No floods required. Show up and see where the journey takes you.

Peace,
Jacob
