It is time to get back into the TaKeTiNa groove. The music, meditation, movement, play, connect, grow groove. The learn, unlearn, discover, create, relax groove. TaKeTiNa helps us find our groove through movement. However, the “moving” doesn’t stop there…

We can be moved in many ways. Physically, using our feet we can walk, run, jump and dance. Emotionally, we can be moved to tears by things of beauty, sorrow, joy and pain. Motivational, we can be moved to change ourselves and/or the world. We can be moved at any time in any or all of these ways. There are so many reasons we can be moved and it is different for each of us.

During this week’s journey we will explore this idea of being “moved”.  How does rhythm move in us? How do we move in rhythm? How and when do we feel moved? These thoughts do no have to stay to just rhythm, or TaKeTiNa. The hope is that we can expand our awareness of our own experience and self knowledge as we play, step clap and sing together.
